World's Teacher's day- 5th October since 1994

Teachers day is celebrated by all the age groups in a society to mark it as a tribute to their teachers.
While a large portion celebrate this day with the teachers at institutions, many dedicate it to their real teachers of life like mother, father or some special friend who they feel, have transformed them phenomenally.
Besides being noble profession, it is also the profession which is said to create all other professions.
The birthday of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan (5 September) is celebrated as Teacher's Day in India since 1962.
This day also marks the death of Mother Teresa, the epitome of kindness
