Here is a funny trick to remember the states with bicameral legislature.
In India, there are 29 states and 7 of them have a bicameral legislature.
Before anything, lets know what is a unicameral and bicameral legislature.
Unicameral Legislature - The state government with a single house i.e. the Legislative Assembly or Vidhan Sabha is called Unicameral legislature.
Bicameral Legislature - The state government with 2 houses i.e. the Legislative Assembly or Vidhan Sabha and Legislative Council or Vidhan Parishad is called Bicameral legislature.
Legislative council is the permanent house where each member has a tenure of 6 years.
